How long does it typically take to repair a phone?
The turnaround time for phone repairs depends on the specific issue and the availability of replacement parts. In general, minor repairs can be completed within one hour. If parts are required this could take a few days to a few weeks.
What types of phone repairs do you offer?
We offer a wide range of phone repairs, including screen replacements, battery replacements, charging port repairs, camera repairs, water damage repairs, and software troubleshooting and new phone setup. We also provide support in data recovery and mother board repair.
How much will it cost to repair my phone?
The cost of phone repairs can vary depending on the model of the phone and the extent of the damage. We provide free diagnostics to determine the issue and provide an accurate quote before proceeding with any repairs.
Do you offer a warranty on your repairs?
Yes, we offer a warranty on our repairs. The length of the warranty may vary depending on the type of repair, but it typically ranges from 30 days to 90 days. The warranty covers any defects in the repaired parts or workmanship.
Can you repair phones from all manufacturers?
Yes, we can repair phones from various manufacturers, including Apple, Samsung, Google, LG, HTC, Motorola, and more. Our technicians are trained to work on a wide range of phone models. We suggest that you find the price of a refirbished model of the same phone to determin if it is worth repairing your device. Phones may also not be worth repairing.
Do I need to make an appointment for phone repairs?
While appointments are not required, we recommend scheduling one to ensure prompt service. Walk-in customers are welcome, but there may be a wait time depending on the current workload. We do work away from the shop but generally there is someone here to recieve phone
Do you offer shipping options for phone repairs?
Yes, we offer shipping options for customers who are unable to visit our physical store. You can contact us to arrange for shipping and discuss the necessary details. The customer will be required to pay all freight and may also provide options for the favourate freight company. This will be subject to availiblity of freight company.
How can I backup my data before getting my phone repaired?
It is always recommended to back up your data before getting your phone repaired. You can do this by using cloud services, such as iCloud or Google Drive, or by connecting your phone to a computer and transferring your files. We will generally not wipe phone for general repairs.
Will my data be safe during the repair process?
We take customer data privacy seriously. While we cannot guarantee absolute security, our technicians are trained to handle devices with care and respect customer privacy. It is always a good practice to back up your data before handing over your device. We will not require you pin number or access to your phone for repairs where pick up is in person. If a person posts phone in and doesn't mind us testing cameras we will require security pin. If not postage for retern problems will be customers burden and we will not access phone.
What should I do if my phone gets water damaged?
If your phone gets water damaged, the first step is to power it off and avoid trying to turn it on. Bring it to us as soon (straight away) as possible, and our technicians will perform a thorough water damage assessment and repair if feasible. The quicker you can get phone to a professional technician the greater the chance of a successful repair.
Can you fix a cracked screen without replacing the entire display?
In most cases, a cracked screen requires a full screen replacement. The display and the glass are typically fused together, making it difficult to replace just the glass. Our technicians will assess the damage and provide the best solution for your phone.
Will repairing my phone void its warranty?
It depends on the specific warranty terms provided by the manufacturer. In some cases, third-party repairs may void the manufacturer's warranty. However, we offer warranties on our repairs and ensure the use of quality parts to maintain the functionality and integrity of your device. As soon as a phone is repaired by a thrid party (us) it generally voids warranty.
Can you repair phones that are no longer under warranty?
Yes, we can repair phones that are no longer under warranty. Our technicians specialize in repairing out-of-warranty devices, and we offer competitive pricing for such repairs.
